About PPTLC
Company Overview
In 2010, a small group of parents, teachers, therapists and other concerned citizens collaborated together and combined their resources to establish Pediatric Play Therapy Learning Coalition, Inc. The program meets Thursday, from 6:00pm to 7:00pm for six to eight weeks. The facilitators will then take two weeks off to plan new thematic activates depending on the school calendar. All facilitators are Infant Toddler Specialists and Public School Teachers. The curriculum consists of educational activities based on each child’s Individualized Education Plan, play therapy, music therapy, and developmental therapy. Results over the last years have been phenomenal!
Population Served
Children ages 2-16 years old, with a diagnosis of Autism and/or Developmental Delay, are served by Pediatric Play Therapy Learning Coalition, Inc.
Expected Outcomes Methods Of Evaluation
Each child’s performance is evaluated and recorded by a qualified Master’s Level Infant Toddler and Family Specialist. The Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) Or Individual Education Plan (IEP) will both be used to measure strengths and needs as well as overall performance. PPTLC will also implement a family survey to assess family concerns and the satisfaction of the program.
